I'm drawn to vintage advertising items that serve an every day purpose.

Two rolls of ribbon. 100 yds originally on each and not much used on either. 

Blue is my favorite color and this darker blue is an absolutely gorgeous color. It may take years and many projects but I could probably use all of it.

Promotional tumbler -'Get  Acquainted with a Stanley Hostess Party'. 

I've never heard of Stanley Hostess Party.  Have you? This little cup with lid is the perfect size for the odd bits & pieces of this & that. And I do just love that shade of green.....

A fruitful treasure hunt.
Cup needs a wash but everything else is put away, at the ready.

Twofer!  Doing my federal income taxes, paying the bills and clipping & sorting a months worth of coupons all call for listening to Roseanne. No time to watch. Only hear. Just like listening to my favorite albums. Every single episode on DVD to suit whatever mood I'm in or task I'm attempting to accomplish.....

That show taught me a lot as a young wife, mother and homeowner: hug tight the ones you love the most, work hard for what you have & what you want, believe in yourself and laugh every day. If ever I need a lesson, background noise or maybe just a good chuckle, it's nice to know all I have to do is press
